SearchInform DLP:

Protecting business from data leakages

SearchInform CloudController

CHALLENGE

Cloud services have become popular because they are affordable, convenient and provide ample storage space. Today, not only mailboxes but also complex software applications are stored in the cloud. But perhaps the biggest appeal of such services is their accessibility: You can access your documents from anywhere and from any device having access to the Internet.

Advantages of cloud services are evident. Employers can easily save on workstations, software licenses, and IT professionals.

However, your files are stored on a remote computer, and although cloud service providers aim to secure the data of their customers, nobody guarantees your data will be safely protected against insider attacks.

SOLUTION

SearchInform CloudController is built to control data transferred to or from cloud services. The product lets you monitor the following cloud services:

  • Google Docs
  • OneDrive
  • Office 365
  • Dropbox
  • Evernote
  • Yandex Disk
  • cloud.mail.ru

including the  activity performed with the client applications: Google Drive Client, Dropbox Client, Yandex Drive Client, Mail.ru Client, Evernote Client, OneDrive Client.

KEY FEATURES

  • Sophisticated search engine. The search client application allows you to run a full-text stemmed search by keywords as well as a proximity search by phrases. You can also search with thematic dictionaries to find documents related to a particular topic.
  • Patented similar content search. A text fragment is used as a search query. The system analyzes captured data and displays found documents in the order of relevance with a degree of similarity assigned to each search result.
  • Export of search results. You can save all or specific search results to a separate folder.
  • Scalability. Server modules installed on separate computers allow processing huge traffic volumes.
